GOVERNOR’S MANSION TO HAVE A SPECIAL SUNDAY TOUR, JULY 29, 2018
OLYMPIA, Wash. – In an effort to encourage more people to see the Washington State Governor’s Mansion – the Governor’s Mansion Foundation (GMF) has added three special Mansion tours for Sunday, July 29, 2018. The tour times are all in the morning at 10, 10:30, and 11. Each FREE guided tour lasts 45 minutes. Tour groups are limited to 25 people and reservations can be made by calling weekdays 360.902.8880 or email email@example.com. Photo identification is required and reservations must be made by Wednesday, July 25.
“We are delighted to have this opportunity to showcase the Mansion as many activities are available on the Capitol campus that day,” said Dawna Donohue, GMF’s chair of tours. “One event later that day, at 6 p.m., will be a free concert presented by the Olympia Symphony. They will be highlighting pieces from previous seasons.” The concert will be held on the west campus near the Tivoli Foundation on the north lawn.
The Governor’s Mansion Foundation, an all-volunteer, non-profit, non-partisan organization, hosts weekly tours of the Mansion on most Wednesdays (except holidays and the month of August).
