The Governor’s Mansion Foundation acknowledges these truths:

Recognizes and honors the peoples who first lived here –

The Washington State Governor’s Mansion Foundation acknowledges that the people of Washington occupy the traditional land of twenty-six federally recognized Indian tribes, honoring with gratitude the peoples who first lived here and cared for the land. Each sovereign tribe has an independent relationship with each other and the state. Olympia and the South Puget Sound region are covered by the Treaty of Medicine Creek, signed in 1854.

Non-discrimination –

The Washington State Governor’s Mansion Foundation does not and shall not discriminate in its membership, event attendance, and similar services  based of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, military status, or political affiliation in any of its activities or operations.
