OLYMPIA, Wash. – For the second summer, the Washington State Governor’s Mansion Foundation (GMF), will present a “Virtual Summer Soirée Musicale” Sunday, June 27, 2021 at 4:30 p.m. (PDT). Following the concert, which will be recorded in Seattle’s historic Steinway Gallery, a live reception will take place on Zoom giving attendees a chance to visit with the artists.
Steinway Artist Judith Cohen will be featured in the concert along with violinist Brittany Breedan. According to Radu A. Lelutiu, Fanfare magazine, “(Judith) is without a doubt a first-rate artist. If you have ever wondered how Wilhelm Kempff might have sounded playing Prokofiev, here is your chance to find out.” Judith is also the Artistic Director of the ever-popular Governor’s Chamber Music Series, held quarterly at the Governor’s Mansion sponsored by the GMF. Musicale ticket prices are $25 for current GMF members, $35 for public (non GMF member) or $75 for a concert ticket and one-year GMF membership ($10 savings).
